Pigeon / Bird / Bat Guano
On average around 2,000 people a year in Britain are infected from wild pigeons, which carry 50+ diseases including salmonellosis and E-coli. In five years the number of pigeons in Britian is estimated to have doubled.
Cryptococcosis and histoplasmosis infections occur by inhaling the pathogenic spores through the nose and mouth. These diseases can lead to inflammation of the brain, pneumonia, blindness and even death.
